Logan is an upcoming 2016 American superhero film. It is the third and the last solo film of Wolverine.
Cast includes Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine a physically modified mutant with accelerated healing, Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier/Professor X a mutant who is the world's most powerful telepath, Elisabeth Rodriguez as Gabriella, Boyd Holbrook as Donald Pierce Transigen's relentless, Richard E Grant as Dr. Zander Rice head of the project Transigen, Dafne Keen as Laura Kinney/X-23 a strange girl who seems to be like Logan, Stephen Merchant as Caliban.
It was reported last November 2013 that 20th Century Fox had begun negotiations with Hugh Jackman and Director James Mangold to have their third solo film starring Wolverine.
March 2014, James Mangold publicized that the shooting for Logan will be inspired by other Wolverine stories form the comic books and will begin after the release of X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016.
The title Logan was publicized by Hugh Jackman on October 5, 2016 During the same month, Boyd Holbrook was revealed to be portraying as Donald Pierce, leader of the reavers. However when the trailer of Logan was released. it was revealed that Daphne Keen would be the actress playing the character of X-23.
Logan will be released on March 2, 2017 in Uk and March 3, 2017 in United States.
