The real-life story of one working spouse and mother who turned into a hero to hundreds people during the World War II. In 1939 Poland, Antonina Żabińska (depicted by two-time Academy Award chosen one Jessica Chastain) and her other half, Dr. Jan Żabiński (Johan Heldenbergh of "The Broken Circle Breakdown"), have the Warsaw Zoo thriving under his stewardship and her care. At the point when their nation is attacked by the Germans, Jan and Antonina are paralyzed - and compelled to answer to the Reich's recently selected boss zoologist, Lutz Heck (Daniel Brühl of "Skipper America: Civil War"). To battle back all alone terms, Antonina and Jan secretly start working with the Resistance - and put energetically plans to spare lives out of what has turned into the Warsaw Ghetto, with Antonina putting herself and even her kids at risk.
