The son of the late Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr, Rolando “Kerwin” Espinosa Jr arrived at NAIA 4m this morning, and Bato Dela Rosa himself fetched the suspected drug lord.
PNP Chief Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa leads his team of heavily-armed members of the PNP Anti-illegal Drugs Group (AIDG) and personally escorted Kerwin Espinosa. While another AIDG team led by Chief Supt. Albert Ferro escorted Espinosa on the flight.
Espinosa wore a black-and-orange shirt and a cream-colored shorts, his hands were handcuffed and the AIDG made him wear a bulletproof vest.
Due to the possibility that Espinosa could be the key to pin down high-profiled personalities that were involved in the country’s illegal drug trade, the PNP consider him a precious cargo. The PNP also tightened the security at NAIA Terminal 3 an hour before Espinosa arrived.
Chief Bato Dela Rosa arrived to make rounds and check the security deployed, various PNP units in the airport, including the PNP Aviation Security Group, headed by Chief Supt. Mao Aplasca.
