Friday, netizens expresses their frustrations and anger over former President Ferdinand Marcos’ burial at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

Just over a week after the Supreme Court allowed Marcos family’s decades of plea to bury the former president at the heroes’ cemetery, former President Marcos was sent to his resting place.

The hashtags #MarcosNOTaHero and #OccupyLNMB immediately began to outbreak on Twitter after the news broke, and “Marcos Burial” was mentioned in more than 18K tweets.

Different personalities, showbiz or non-showbiz showed their anger and disgust at the secret burial of the former president.

Former presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte and Award-winning writer Butch Dalisay also throws their comments;

It was previously compared by Vice President Leni Robredo that the clandestine burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos was like a thief in the night, her daughter Aika Robredo also shared photos of 'Matial Law' victims to show her support on the stand #MarcosNOTaHero.
