Duterte Approved P270 Billion worth Project under His Administration

The big change Duterte promised during the campaign didn’t stop on drug busts operations and eradicating criminalities as big development projects was approved recently, 7 more infra projects worth P270 Billion. And by approving these projects, the Duterte administration had beaten the 12 approved projects by the Aquino administration during 9its’ 6 years terms.

Well, I think we need more than just a straight road (“tuwid na daan”) to change and remold the country.

Ernesto Pernia, secretary of National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) said that the 7 projects were approved on Monday, November 14 in Malacañang during its second meeting.
The NEDA board approved the Investment Coordination Committee (ICC) Guidelines on processing China-Assisted projects.

Here are the 7 approved projects:

1. Scaling up of the Second Cordillera Highlands Agricultural Resources Management Project
2. Expansion of the Philippines Rural Development Project
3. Improvement/Widening of General Luis-Kaybiga-Polo-Novaliches Road to Valenzuela City
4. New Cebu International Port
5. North-South Railway Project – South Line
6. Malitubog-Maridagao Irrigation Project, Stage 2
7. New Nayong Pilipino at Entertainment City

There were 9 projects previously approved last Sepetember 14 by NEDA board worth P171 Billion;

1. P74.6-billion Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) public-private partnership (PPP) project
2. P37.8-billion Metro Manila Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in EDSA
3. P23.5-billion first phase of Metro Manila Flood Management Project
4. P10.2-billion Inclusive Partnership for Agricultural Competitiveness Project
5. P8-billion second phase of the Maritime Safety Capability Improvement project for the Philippine Coast Guard
6. P7.8-billion change in scope of the New Bohol Airport Construction and Sustainable Environment Protection Project
7. P4.8-billion increase in area of Bicol International Airport’s passenger terminal building in Albay
8. P2.4-billion modernization of Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center in Leyte
9. P2.2-billion modernization of Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital in Bohol

Currently, there were 16 total infrastructure projects approved by Duterte administration to pursue to give what the country deserves by spending its money rightfully by giving back what its country men is paying.

In addition, the administration earlier announced that more PPP projects are coming for 2017, and already had their eye on the unbearable traffic dilemma which plagued NCR for decades already.
