Encantadia is a Filipino fantasy television series by GMA Netowork. It is a reboot to the 2015 fantasy series of the same name. It is previously starred by Sunshiine Dizon as Pirena, Iza Calzado as Amyhan, Karylle as Alena and Diana Zubiri as Danaya.
It is a film directed by Mark A. Reyes and Produced by GMA Network. They started shooting on January 6, 2016, They used animators for Imaw.
Now with its new remake of the story, all the sang'gres or keepers of the four gems are now Kylie Padilla is playing the role of Amihan, Alena will be portrayed by Gabbi Garcia, Sanya Lopez os Danaya while Glaiza de Castro takes the role of Pirena.
Dingdong Dantes who originally played the role of Ybrahim/Ybarro returns in the remake to take the role as Amihan's father, Raquim while Sunshine Dizon who originally played Pirena also returns to take on a big role of Adhara the former Queen if Lireo before Mine-a and Diana Zubiri who portrayed Danaya will take the role as LilaSari who later sided by Adhara.
Adhara's appearance is the requel is identical to Pirena in the original series when she bacame the temporary Queen of Lerio.
This has the different story from Encantadia (2005-2006 series.)
